Yanka Dyagileva died at the age of 30 under unclear circumstances in Siberia. Her death has not been properly explained to this day. There is talk of suicide, but many things point to murder. Yanka was a protest singer from Siberia in the dark times of the USSR.
Their songs are full of melancholy and anger and doubts in this pig system. Your voice is unique and your songs are still heard today. Their videos and recordings, which were made with simple, contemporary means, reach numbers of over 100.000 allusions to Youtube or Spotify.
6 years ago, Aitor Perez came up with the idea of re-recording these great songs with a great young singer from Euskadi. 14 songs were made newly recorded with excellent sound quality and mastered in London at the Bomb Factory. It is a matter of the heart to be part of this LP and to release it together with Aitor Perez. For the first time in 30 years there is such a project and the songs in such a sound quality. The cover was painted by a Russian artist who also helped research Yanka. Limited edition to 300 copies. 14 tracks!
