Culebra nace en Marzo de 2017 a raíz de un proyecto que en principio iba a ser una banda efímera en el que varias personas relacionadas con el colectivo DIY Andalucía Über Alles de Sevilla y gente de Granada se juntan sin más pretensiones que ensayar un fin de semana para realizar un concierto, pero fue tan divertido que se vieron obligadas a darle continuidad. En el primer fin de semana de ensayo grabaron una demo de tres temas con un micrófono aéreo en el local de ensayo con un sonido sucio y oscuro, una pelota de sonido ideal para lo que buscaban en ese momento, algo directo y efectivo que vaya definiendo el sonido característico de la banda. Con un algún cambio en la formación y algún que otro concierto en directo no fue hasta abril de 2018 cuando entraron en el estudio de la Sala Hollander (Sevilla) para grabar lo que sería su primer LP mezclado por Luis Navarro de Colilla Records y masterizado por Daniel Husayn de North London Bomb Factory Mastering. Doce temas que comprenden una selección variada de composiciones de la banda, saltando desde el punk más básico o popero hasta un acercamiento a sonidos más oscuros, rozando el post-Punk. 12 temas!
